GH viewers will recall that over the course of recent episodes, Brad has rotted in jail. While there this manipulative character made a deal with the devil that is Julian Jerome (William deVry). In exchange for keeping Julian out of the picture, and thus off of Sonny’s radar, Julian agreed to hire the best defense attorney for Brad that money could buy.

While Brad believes his secret agreement with Julian could get all charges against him dropped, it may not actually keep him from Sonny’s wrath.GH Fans may remember that Brad went all out in a tearful confession about his baby-swapping scheme with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) in front of Sonny. Actually, it was in front of just about the entire Corinthos family!

Brad tried to minimize his own involvement in Wiley Cooper-Jones’s (Erik and Theo Olson) kidnapping. In fact, he told the entire room that Nelle was the originator of the plan. However, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was having none of it. As soon as the police arrested Brad, she was pressing Sonny for revenge against both of the conspirators.

General Hospital Spoilers: The Corinthos Family Seems To Believe That Brad Is As Guilty As Nelle

To be fair, no one in the Corinthos family seems to believe that Brad is as guilty as Nelle. Yet they all believe that he still deserves some kind of deep punishment. While Sonny originally felt that any retribution against either Nelle or Brad was up to Michael to dish out, that’s something that might change.

In fact, Brad’s situation may be about to get a lot worse as Sonny begins to take a more personal role in the entire affair. Remember that as soon as Nelle ended up in a cell across from Brad’s she began to work on changing the entire story about how the conspiracy to swap babies began. Now, Dr. Liesl Obrecht who actually delivered Nelle’s baby on the side of the road is also in jail. If Nelle implicates her and she has to testify, it could just be that much more damaging to for Brad’s case.

With all the circumstances stacking up against the disingenuous Brad Cooper, some very interesting questions may arise. Could Sonny’s visit to Brad be a message of doom, or could the Mafioso be willing to cut Brad a deal? Might Sonny’s real strategy be to ensure that Nelle loses in her custody battle with Michael? Is it possible that Sonny has a plan to secure Brad’s help in bringing Nelle down?

If that’s the case, Brad is sure to be reluctant and only dire threats from Sonny will convince him to cooperate with the mafia boss. One thing is sure to be true, however. Either way, Sonny will make sure Brad is damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t!
