General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) might have made things super easy for Lulu to drop her petition for sole custody of Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). GH fans know that while Valentin was recently planning to drop his bid to contest Lulu’s petition, the two recently met behind closed doors. When Valentin and Lulu emerged, they had apparently made peace!
General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine And Lulu Spencer Hate Each Other
Just a month or two ago, GH fans would have sworn that Valentin and Lulu would never be able to have peace with one another. The two seemed locked in a perpetual war over Charlotte with neither parent willing to compromise in any way, shape, or form. Viewers know that Lulu has hated Valentin ever since he shot Lulu’s brother, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). She’s also held a grudge against Valentin for the fact that he’s outrageously wealthy and has spoiled Charlotte to the nth degree.
For his part, Valentin has detested Lulu and has attempted to find any way he can to stick a figurative knife between her ribs and twist. GH fans know that (even though it was funny) Valentin took delight in videotaping Lulu’s knockdown, drag-out fight with Brook Lynne Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Of course, everyone knows that Valentin planned to use the footage to his advantage … perhaps in the very child custody case, he was contesting.
GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Makes a Deal
If the truth were told, Lulu’s decision to drop her custody petition might have had as much to do with Charlotte as it did with Valentin. However, putting aside Charlotte as a consideration for a moment, Valentin might have agreed to just about all of Lulu’s demands as long as she dropped her bid for sole custody.
What might Valentin have agreed to exactly? Well, honestly Valentin probably didn’t have to agree to anything strange. Valentin likely had to agree to stop being the jerk that everyone knows he can be. For example, Valentin may have agreed to regular updates with Lulu. He might have agreed to regular consultations between the two of them so that they could be on the same page vis-à-vis Charlotte. Valentin most assuredly had to agree to stop spending huge, heaping amounts of cash on her … making it appear that he’s the magic genie while Lulu is the regular, boring parent.
The bottom line is that Valentin probably had to agree to give Lulu equal weight in all major decisions regarding how Charlotte was to be raised. He could no longer pretend to be lord and master of all he desired when it came to Charlotte.
Thus, the truth is, Valentin may have had to do a lot more compromising than Lulu. Many GH fans believe it just might have been good for him too!
General Hospital Spoilers – Lulu Spencer Gets Co-Parenting Heaven
Many can agree that if Valentin and Lulu are able to maintain a good working relationship when it comes to Charlotte, they don’t have to be the best of friends. However, secret many GH fans who happen to have co-parenting agreements know is this … relationships that might have started in a contentious manner often get better over time.

Valentin and Lulu might not be good friends now. However, when Charlotte is in her teens, viewers might discover that the two have grown comfortable in their co-parenting roles. When that happens, it’s likely that some type of friendship has been established.
Some GH viewers are now hoping that’s exactly what will happen for Lulu and Valentin.
