General Hospital: Cynthia Watros (Nina Reeves), James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine)On April 8, “General Hospital” will air a special episode that focuses on the life of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Upcoming scenes would show Cynthia Watros & James Patrick Stuart take on different roles of Carly’s adoptive parents Virginia and Frank Benson. Flashbacks will be shown in the upcoming episode and Eden McCoy, who plays Joslyn Jacks, will also portray the role of younger Carly.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, McCoy said, “Carly came from nothing. She left her parents; she felt that her father didn’t want her.”

The young actress added, “It was such a passionate role to play and I feel like I really got to know Carly better as a character, on a more intimate level. And it was just really interesting to see all the pieces fall in line and understand why she’s such a fighter.”

Meanwhile, Willa Rose of “I’m Dying Up Here” and “Here and Now” plays the younger version of Nelle Benson, Frank’s biological daughter. Viewers may recall that Nelle and Carly didn’t grow up together. Nelle is Frank’s biological daughter and he left Carly to raise his her.

“It’s a really heartbreaking moment for Carly to see her dad, who left her, with another kid. It hits a very personal note for that character,” McCoy hinted.

Spoilers also reveal that a major secret will also be revealed and it will affect many present-day characters.

Upcoming scenes will show that Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) receives some unsettling news. Viewers will also see Nina confront Nelle as Sonny become increasingly concerned about Carly. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will feel sorry for something while Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will face a stressful situation.

General Hospital Spoilers – Special Episode Moved

The special episode that centers on Carly were originally scheduled to air on Tuesday, April 7. However, ABC announced recently that it would air all-new episodes of the soap from Monday through Friday. The decision came after the network halted the production of “General Hospital” back in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

To stretch out the new episodes for as long as possible, the show has made some alterations to its scheduling. “General Hospital” will air flashback episodes every Friday beginning April 3 until May 22. Re-runs may take over thereafter until the soap restarts airing new episodes.
