In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Telfer explained that once Xander realizes that Sarah knows that Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton (the May twins) really belongs to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).

He tries to pressure her into staying with him. Xander tells the bride that this whole situation shouldn’t break them apart, but should make them stronger because they went through it together. However, his pleas are falling on deaf ears. Sarah tells him that she never wants to see him again.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that in Xander’s mind, nobody really got hurt in the end. Of course, fans know that’s not true, but it just shows how delusional Xander is. He will use just about anything to justify his behavior. The actor explained,

“In his mind, it’s no harm, no foul. [Brady and Kristen are] getting their kid back, and he and Sarah are still together. They’re in love, so if she just says yes, everything will be great. But, obviously, that’s all been destroyed.”
