Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Troubles With Claire Begin – John & Marlena Realize Claire Tricked Them

NBC Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) has successfully maneuvered her release from Bayview. As DOOL viewers know, Claire started her pursuit by appealing to her grandmother Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to let her out of the facility, and it wasn’t long thereafter that Claire got her to wish.

But of course, Claire wanted more than simply to be released; she wanted to get out and set up her life in Salem again. Claire balked at going home with her parents Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Black (Martha Madison), and she managed to get Marlena and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to allow her to stay with them at their penthouse.

Days Of Our Lives Updates – Lies Of Deception

But it wasn’t long after Claire got settled into the penthouse that the lies and deception started to flow. First, Marlena found a “save the date” card for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) wedding among Claire’s things. When confronted about having the card, Claire lied and said that her parents gave it to her.

And then, Claire went to her room to lay down as far as Marlena and John were concerned, but then she promptly snuck out to go pay Ciara a surprise visit. Well, it seems like Claire will only get away with her sneaking-out stunt for a little while. Claire will end up having a lengthy talk with Ciara over at the Salem Inn, but soon Marlena and John will realize that something’s amiss.

It seems that Marlena and John will discover that Claire is missing in action, and this will concern them greatly. After all, Claire was released in their care, and Marlena especially feels a great deal of responsibility for making sure that Claire walks the straight and narrow, and that she continues to make strides just as if she were still in Bayview. Immediately sneaking out of the house won’t bode well.

It seems that Marlena and John may have a few theories about where Claire might have gone, and it probably won’t take them long to realize that she might have gone to see Ciara try to make amends for what she put Ciara through before her commitment to Bayview. But little will they realize that Claire is going to end up doing a very good thing while she’s out at Ciara’s.

Claire will end up providing key information to Ben and Ciara about Gwen (Emily O’Brien), whom Ben and Ciara are looking for so that they can save Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus), who has been kidnapped. As DOOL viewers know, Gwen was in Bayview with Claire, so Claire will be able to pass that information onto Ben and Ciara, which will ultimately help to save Gabi’s life.

DOOL Spoilers – Big Surprise

Well, it seems that Marlena and John will either track Claire down, or Claire will return on her own. However it happens, Claire will regroup with her grandparents, and then another big surprise will come when Gwen shows up at the penthouse. Claire and Gwen get along great, but Gwen is pretty mischievous, and Marlena might quickly get the sense that Gwen isn’t a great influence on Claire right now.

We’ll see what happens here, but suffice it to say that Claire will probably be starting out on the wrong foot with Marlena and John, considering her decision to sneak off and go visit with Ciara. We’ll see if Marlena and John bring down the hammer, but we suspect that this is the start of a string of difficulties they’ll have going forward with Claire.
