DOOL spoilers reveal that ever since we saw Claire reappear, she has been acting suspiciously. It’s not just the way she has been acting, even before leaving Bayview, but her words. She also seems way too desperate to get out and insists it must be in Salem. In fact, when her parents said she was coming to Hong Kong with them, Claire said that would defeat the purpose of her getting released.

Fans Not Only Ones In Doubt

Viewers are not the only ones that are doubting Claire is better, either. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) are still concerned. This is why they want to stick around Salem for a little while. They have to make sure that Claire really is mentally stable. Ever since her strong protest against Hong Kong, Shawn and Belle have been doubting she’s truly recovered.

DOOL Spoilers – Olivia Rose Keegan Talks Good Behavior

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Keegan was asked about her character’s new storyline. The actress made it clear that Claire is not obsessive, but passionate. She said that it’s important for Claire to keep her emotions in check. Not because there is anything wrong with having strong emotions, but that she knows everyone is watching.

Passion, Not Obsession

In fact, Keegan had this to say about Claire watching what she says to people and how it comes across,

“… because she knows that if she goes too far people will mistake her passion for obsessiveness and put her right back into Bayview.”

So, what do you think? Is everyone just assuming too quickly that Claire is still crazy? The character has always been very extroverted and has exhibited strong, outward emotions her whole life.

Manipulation and being mischievous is also a part of her personality. It really isn’t a “symptom” of her mental health disorder (as long as she stays away from lighters!)

Plus, fans should remember that head writer Ron Carlivati likes to trick people with the character’s motivations. It becomes like a mystery and makes it more shocking when the truth comes out. Not to mention that Carlivati absolutely loves redemption stories and Claire is likely one of those.
