It is likely that Abe knows because Eli has been opening up to him lately. Then, there is Kristen herself, who didn’t tell Lani why she suddenly changed her mind.

It is obvious that Eli is feeling incredibly guilty. When unconscious in the hospital, he began muttering and apologizing. Lani asked him about it, but he claimed not to know what it was about. When she pushed, he claimed it must have been about Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). Then, Lani admitted that Eli mentioned Kristen’s name.

Even though Eli and Lani seem to be going through some rocky times since their wedding, we have full faith that they will get through all of them. But Eli needs to remember what he asked Lani before they got married. That there would be no more secrets or lies between them. Back then, Eli was referring to Lani not telling him about Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), Julie Wiliams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), and the exploding pacemaker.
