NBC Days of Our Lives updates and spoilers reveal that Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) is confirmed to be innocent. She was not responsible for the car crash that stole two precious lives. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) reconciles with her mother, but the forgiveness is bittersweet. It is teased that the two will face a long and rocky road in the near future.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) learns that Maggie didn’t cause the accident on Mother’s Day. This means that she is serving time in prison for a crime that she didn’t commit. Not only that, but Maggie can finally be released from the tremendous guilt that causes her to attempt suicide.

DOOL Spoilers – Sarah Horton’s Gratitude

It is stated in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest that Sarah rushes to the prison infirmary to see her mother. Not only does she need to talk about everything that’s happened, but she likely finds out that Maggie tried to kill herself. Plus, there is the fact that Sarah realizes her mother didn’t kill Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton (the May twins).

The two share a loving embrace and Sarah is grateful that Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) saved Maggie. She is also filled with relief that her mother didn’t kill her own granddaughter the night she was born.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Bittersweet Reconciliation

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that mother and daughter finally reconcile. However, it is not all joy and celebration. It is bittersweet because Mickey is still dead, the baby swap happened, and Sarah had to give up the baby she was raising to Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). The doctor is also still reeling from Xander’s betrayal and Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) deceit.

DOOL Spoilers – Guilt And Forgiveness

Even though Sarah and Maggie have reconnected and reconciled, their story is not over. Rogers indicated that Maggie will still go through challenges and struggles. Maggie will wrestle with guilt over trying to take her own life. It would have left Sarah all alone to deal with the aftermath of the baby bombshell.

“That’s what makes Maggie feel so badly, that she contemplated doing that [suicide]… They hug and at that moment, all is forgiven between them. But it’s going to be hard moving forward.”

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Mourning Mother Begins Healing Process

As for Sarah, she will have to go through the grieving process. She has to accept that her baby died a year prior. However, she will also mourn the little girl she raised as her own. She bonded with the infant for an entire year, helped get her through cancer treatments and the bone marrow transplant. She begged and bargained with Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) to save the baby’s life.
