Days of our Lives spoilers reveal that Hurricane Sami has landed in Salem and residents have already had a bumpy time riding out the storm which is far from over. Alison Sweeney is back in town as Sami Brady and wouldn’t you know it, from the moment of her arrival, the town has been bracing for one cyclone after another.
Sami has two uber complicated events to contend with and she has been in fine fighting form as she tries to handle the situations the only way she knows how—her way!
One involves her pregnant daughter Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) who kept her condition hidden from her mom. The other involves her twin brother Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) nuptials to her sworn enemy Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). The beautiful and talented actress sat down with Soap Opera Digest to talk about her most recent stint on the NBC sudser and we have a few of the details here.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Sami Brady Is A Force Of Nature To Be Reckoned With
Alison shared how Sami is handling Ericole’s marriage by saying that her character is livid. “I mean, the fact that these people just glossed over the fact that Nicole kidnapped Sydney (Berlyn and Brooklyn Baca) from her is just mind-boggling to Sami.”
According to her portrayer, Sami thinks that every mistake she has made, “they hold it against her and remind her of all of the terrible things she’s done every day but somehow Nicole gets this free pass.”
Of course, Sami is dead set against her brother marrying someone she despises, whether or not it makes him happy. As Alison shares, “She feels that this woman is not good enough for Eric and that she will, in the end, break his heart. She doesn’t want to see that happen.”
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Sami Brady Is Very Possessive Of Her Brother Eric Brady
Alison said that she appreciated head writer Ron Carlivati’s writing for Sami’s latest entrance which had her uttering words, “My condolences,” when she crashed the wedding.
“Eric did want to invite Sami but Allie convinced him not to, and Allie has such a good reason for not wanting Sami there, to see her pregnant. Sami is searching for Allie, worried, so of course, she’s going to leave no stone unturned to try to find her daughter.”
Alison added that for poor Sami, learning of the wedding and the pregnancy at the same time, “It’s just so heartbreaking for Sami to just happen to find out … when Sami gets on that train, there’s no stopping it.”
