Y&R Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Could Be A Previously Unknown Twin Of Hilary Hamilton

Amanda running from her past and her having people from her past in common with Devon could be two separate issues. Longtime Y & R viewers will recall that Devon was a homeless teenager who was taken in by Drucilla and Neil Winters (Victoria Rowell, Kristoff St. John) and later legally adopted by them. Devon was a product of the foster care system and was considered a delinquent who had lived in various group homes, and possibly ran away from the last one he was in.

If Amanda is indeed a twin of Devon’s late wife Hilary, she could have been given away – or, taken away –at birth, and then wound up in one of the same group homes Devon was in, but they could have been there at different times. That would account for them not knowing or remembering each other. Certainly Devon would have remembered if he had been in a group home with either Hilary, had she been in one, or her twin, and Amanda would have remembered him as well! That would account for their having people from their past in common – from a group home in common.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Hilary Hamilton And Amanda Sinclair’s Mother Would Have Been Rose Turner

If Hilary and Amanda indeed were twins, possibly separated at birth, their mother would have been Rose Turner (Leslie Stevens) a character cast only for about a month who died in April 2007. Neil had met Rose in a bar and they had both gotten drunk and had a one night stand, and Rose died in the motel room and Hilary at first had blamed him for it, but then later married him, and Devon had an affair with her! That is how Hilary and Devon got together! This was after Drucilla fell into a body of water and her body was never found, so she was presumed dead. However, Hilary’s father was never revealed or spoken of.

Another scenario could be that Hilary and Amanda’s parents separated or that they were never married to begin with and the father took Amanda and the mother took Hilary; and the girls were too young to have remembered. Because of whatever happened to their father, Amanda could have wound up in a group home, the two parents likely having not kept in touch. The father could have even kidnapped Amanda but Rose never told Hilary about her twin and the father never told Amanda she had a twin either!
