Young And The Restless Last Week In Review: Coven In Grave Danger – Devon Continues To Meddle In Ana’s Life

When last we saw them, the remaining Young And The Restless (Y&R) Coven members were trapped in the Newman cabin, choking on gas fumes. In a fit of anger, J.T Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) had started smashing items in the fireplace and ended up hitting a gas line. He passed out and the women yelled at him to wake up.

First though, he regaled them with his tale of escape from the shallow grave they buried him in back in April on Y&R. He explained that a drainpipe had burst, and he managed to follow it through the sewer system and ultimately won his freedom. All the while though, J.T. kept moaning and crying out “my head!” as put his hands to his skull.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) should never have been put in that position in the first place. They should have been at the women’s prison being processed.

But thanks to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), they were now fugitives, and about to die from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Rants And Raves

The men’s plan was to make J.T. think they were flying the women out of the country and they hoped to lure him to an airstrip. Nice plan boys, you make Inspector Clouseau look like a genius.

But don’t worry, help is on the way, in the form of Billy and Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni). Never one to let the grass grow under her feet, Phyllis knows something’s up when she hears on the news the women have escaped prison. She follows Billy and this dynamic duo end up in the woods outside the cabin.

Back at the GCPD, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) rants and raves about how useless the police are and that his wife and daughter better be found. Nick and Rey corral him into a conference room and tell him to shut the hell up.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Christine Williams Smells A Rat

Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) thinks something’s up with Rey, and rightly so. She didn’t trust him to begin with, but this escape is just too much. When she questions him, he gives her some line about being on the side of justice and it seems to leave a sour taste in her mouth.

Meanwhile on Y&R, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) follows his sister Ana Hamilton (Lorna Lott) to a motel room. After she enters, he knocks on the door and politely barges in. He finds out Ana has found her father Jett Slade (Gilbert Glenn Brown) and has been paying his medical bills. Jett’s nurse Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) kicks the two of them out. She says all the commotion isn’t good for his health.

All this begs the question – who died and made Devon king? And what gives him the right to constantly snoop around in his sister’s business?

Also, on last week’s Y&R, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) came out of her transplant surgery just fine, but Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) gets some shocking news. Summer Newman (Hunter King) isn’t doing so well.
