The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has walked the general straight and narrow since returning from his brief stay in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chelsea’s choice to withhold information about Simon Black’s (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) blackmail demand put Chick in jeopardy. While this couple was reforming, it didn’t have longevity, or one other most important thing.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was just beginning to trust Chelsea again. Trust is the key to any lasting relationship, which made his acceptance of her earlier this year noteworthy. Nick gave Chelsea a second chance. Later, she returned the favor when rationalizing being kept out of the loop during Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) death hoax.

Y&R Spoilers – Connor Newman Deeply Impacted By Drama

Connor is reeling after so much drama within the past handful of months. He regained his father, after thinking Adam was dead. Then, Calvin Boudreau (John Burke), who’d been a good stepdad, actually died.

Adam’s tell to Connor, about Victor’s supposed death, was followed by both Newman’s learning the Moustache was a faker. That provoked Adam and deeply impacted Connor.

Chelsea is going to help her son heal, no matter how long that takes or what she needs to do. If that means living with Connor and his father, in some rationalized (another use of this verb again) way, that so be it.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson’s Heart In Question

Chelsea does care for Nick, but she clearly reserves a part of her heart for Adam, who she has a deeper and more meaningful connection with. While Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) continued link to Adam can’t be fully discounted, Chelsea is Connor’s mother and the woman Grossman’s character loves the most by far.

Egan’s character hasn’t fallen back in love with Adam. She’s still committed to Nick, but has entered a stage where old feelings could be revived. With that and the approaching holiday season, Chadam could overtake Chick in the nearing future, which is what Connor and Adam want.
