Hollyoaks spoilers reveal that there is a long list of people that could be so angry that they shoot Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe). Although the list is endless, here are our top guesses on who could be responsible for gunning down the bad girl.

As fans know, Mercedes ends up facing a bullet and there are a lot of people who could be responsible. Her main storyline right now has to do with the hit-and-run. However, she has committed other sins that could make others pretty angry. Let’s go over our top suspects.

When it comes to killing someone, there are a lot of elements that could factor into the decision. There is also what is called a “passion crime,” which is when people get caught up in their emotions and someone gets hurt. Although many people have been hurt by Mercedes, Grace Black (Tamara Wall) has probably been hurt the most. Could this hurt have caused her to react and shoot Mercedes? The actress has spoken about Grace and Mercedes. According to Metro, she said:

“Grace has just found out that it was Mercedes who ran her over and put her in a wheelchair, so she wants to get her revenge.”

The actress also said that Grace’s battle with Mercedes is always fun and reminds her of Dynasty.

“It’s like something out of Dynasty, I think that’s what we get described as, Alexis and Krystle Carrington, because they are two of the feistiest characters in the show.”

Holloaks Spoilers: Sylver McQueen Must Be The Reigning King

When it comes to devotion, Sylver McQueen (David Tag) must be the reigning king. After all, he has faithfully stood by Mercedes throughout all of her scams, schemes and scandalous storylines. However, every person has their limit, something that happens to draw a line.

It is possible that not only has this line been crossed, but it may have caused Sylver to snap. Her affair with Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) could be the breaking point. Tag recently explained that Sylver already has a bad temper and there are a number of things that could set him off. There is the cheating, aborting a child that may or may not have been his, plus what Mercedes did to Grace.

Holloaks Spoilers: Liam Donovan Loves Mercedes McQueen

Hollyoaks spoilers suggest that even though Liam loves Mercedes, her cutting off the romance could have dire consequences. He went all out in protecting the woman, including covering up her role in the hit-and-run. As fans recall, it put his own sister’s life in jeopardy. Since their intense on-and-off romance began, she has always ended up picking Sylver over Liam. However, when she cuts him off for good, could the rejection cause him to shoot Mercedes? This is what the actor had to say about Liam’s anger toward the woman he loves:

“He’s seemingly at her beck and call and Liam is usually not the kind of guy to let that happen…there are lots of reasons why, in Liam’s mind, shooting her would remove him of a problem.”
