General Hospital Spoilers: Kevin Returns To Work And Takes On New Patients — Will One Of Them Be Nelle?

General Hospital Spoilers-- Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom)

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will soon return to psychiatric practice and start taking on new clients. It’s not yet clear whether he will return to the staff of General Hospital or if he will be in private practice; perhaps Dr. Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) might take him on as a partner.

But, if somehow Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) gains some small portion of redemption by donating a kidney to Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and saving her life, perhaps that will affect Kevin’s redemption in the eyes of the GH board as well, and he will come off suspension.

General Hospital spoilers tease that Kevin will begin practice again sometime in the summer, and Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) is set to return to the General Hospital canvas soon, although it has not been revealed whether this will be a short visit or a short arc! Could one of Kevin’s new patients be Nelle? Unfortunately for Kevin, thanks to his being the twin of a prolific serial killer, he does have the experience necessary to try to treat someone like Nelle! Nelle and Ryan are actually quite a bit alike in their narcissism and sneakiness and manipulation!

However, their methods and motives differ in that Ryan kills for the sake of killing, and Nelle is more of what law enforcement calls a “black widow”; a woman who gets involved with and usually marries or at least gets engaged to their mark, convinces him to put her in his will and then kills him so she can inherit her murdered spouse or lover’s money! Nelle could either fall to him to treat in Ferncliff or as part of a probation and parole agreement if she is released.

Who Will Be Kevin’s First Patient on General Hospital?

Of course, there are other Port Charles residents who may need to turn to Kevin professionally in their times of need. Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) would go back to Kevin in a heartbeat now that they know the truth about Ryan’s switch with Kevin and they have forgiven Kevin for his mistakes with Ryan. Another possible patient, once she and Drew Cain (Billy Miller) return from scattering their son Oscar Nero Quartermaine’s (Garren Lake Stitt) ashes, would be Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun).

She is obviously suffering from Oscar’s loss and various General Hospital spoilers tease that she will have such a hard time of it that she could either develop a major depressive disorder or even become suicidal! Kevin, too, lost a child albeit an adult one that he didn’t get to know for a very long time; if GH writers incorporate history from the GH spin-off, Port Charles. He will be able to help Kim if she lets him!
