Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) left Port Charles a few months ago to go in deep undercover. Zamprogna revealed recently that his character will be back in town. Co-headwriter Shelly Altman teases what’s ahead for Dante’s short return.
Dante’s wife, Lulu, was nearly killed by Ryan Chamberlain. And while her life was hanging in the balance, Dante’s family tried harder to find him.
In an interview with Soaps In Depth, Altman said that while Dante is still on a secret mission, “other people become involved in the search.”
General Hospital – How Much Danger Is Dante In?
“It appears he is in greater danger than was previously assumed!” she teased. That spells trouble for whoever is looking after him as well. General Hospital spoilers also tease that he would also have to deal with a lot of things when he return to Port Charles.
He left to help WSB find the criminal who previously tried to kill his wife, but that also meant leaving Lulu to take care of their family on her own.

“Dante left town so suddenly, and he never expected to be gone as long as long as he has been. And we’ve seen signs of the friction that this is causing. So it certainly seems safe to say that he and Lulu will have to deal with the ramifications of his decision,” Altman added.
General Hospital – Will Dante And Lulu Divorce?
Dante will only be back for a short run, so some speculations are coming out that he would only tie some loose ends. Other suggest that it will likely involve breaking up and getting a divorce from Lulu.
Two weeks ago, Zamprogna revealed he was back on set, by posting a photo of himself in a dressing room. His return date is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Zamprogna has been cast for a lead role in a short film by Nate Hapke, titled “To the Moon and Back.” It is about a man named Robert Westfield who is grieving the loss of his mother. He finds solace in the presence of his wife (Danielle Rayne as Judith Westfield) and daughter (Julie Romano as Freddi Westfield).
