General Hospital Spoilers: Carly And Ava Call A Truce — Is It About Avery?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will accept a truce from someone on Thursday’s episode, but who? The preview shows Carly rather vehemently denying to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that she’s never run from Ava Jerome (Maura West) and she wasn’t going to start now, but that certainly doesn’t sound like she’s talking about Ava proposing a truce!

Ava’s facing charges of attempted murder of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and is out on bail, so what are Ava and Carly needing a truce about? The only possible thing would be Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and either visitation or custody agreements. Here’s what you need to know about what’s ahead on GH.

GH Spoilers– Does Ava Want To See Avery More Often?

It is possible, since Ava doesn’t know how her trial will go for sure, that she has contacted Sonny and Carly about having Avery more often, or visiting her, which Carly has been totally against. If Carly had her way, Avery would not even know Ava was her mother and would have been raised to believe Carly was!

No matter what Ava has done, she’s never hurt or exposed Avery to any danger, and it’s honestly not right nor fair for Carly to continue to be so possessive of Avery.

Carly’s a good mother, but she’s not giving Ava a chance with her own child, basically out of spite! So Ava may propose a truce until her trial to be able to see and care for Avery more often.

General Hospital Spoilers– Is Carly Right To Protect Avery?

Obviously, from the sound of what Carly vented to Sonny in the previews for Thursday’s episode, Carly is going to be totally against Ava having anything at all to do with Avery, at least at first! She will be totally resistant to the idea of Ava’s calling a truce and will probably point out to Sonny that for all they know, Ava could skip bail and go on the run, Avery in tow and Sonny would never see his youngest daughter again!

But, something – or possibly someone – will work on Carly to calm her down and get her to think more reasonably and consider a truce with Ava; perhaps the prodding of her own child giving her some good swift internal kicks!
