General Hospital Promo Spoilers: Baby Donna Is Here, But Her Health Takes a Nose Dive?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Baby Corinthos is arriving two weeks early in this week’s weekly promo video, “New Baby”! In their darkest moment, a light shines through and provides hope for life!

General Hospital viewers will recall from Friday’s episode, that while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was visiting with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) in the kitchen of the Corinthos home, she suddenly went into labor two weeks early! Jason had held her up and told her to hold on as she doubled over in pain; she cries out loudly that it’s not supposed to happen like this, and just as she’d gotten done telling Jason he was there (instead of Sonny) for all her children’s’ births, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) came home just in the nick of time! In this continuation of that scene, it looks like Jason and Sonny together rush Carly to the hospital. Sonny assures Carly that nothing is more important than her and the baby.

GH Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Is Panicking!

Carly, now in her hospital room, panics and cries to Jason that there are so many things that can go wrong! As viewers will recall, her baby was prenatally diagnosed with Spina Bifida Meningocele, a serious birth defect! Sonny, also in the room, puts his arms around her and tries to comfort her and get her to calm down.

Out in the General Hospital maternity waiting area, Carly and Sonny’s other older children, Michael Corinthos, (Chad Duell), Kristina Corinthos-Davis, (Lexi Ainsworth) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) wait with concerned looks on their faces. The little one, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) is not seen in this promo but she may be with Grandma Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) or a nanny since Bobbie is not seen either. Bobbie may still be in another hospital room, however, recovering from her own recent health scare!

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Is Wheeled Into The Operating Room

Sonny Corinthos follows Carly into the operating room, where she is to have an emergency caesarian section for Baby Corinthos to be delivered. This is always necessary with a spina bifida baby until the seriousness of the condition can be ascertained, and Baby Corinthos will need immediate surgery to correct the condition as well as it can be corrected.

Carly is still conscious as Sonny tells her she’s beautiful and he can’t wait to meet the baby! Then the scene shifts to Dr. Sofia Navarro, (Christina Ferraro) as she and her team perform the caesarian section and deliver the baby. Dr. Navarro says the baby is almost here, and then the scene again shifts to Carly still conscious on the operating table and she appears to be crying.

GH Spoilers – Baby Donna Will Face A Health Crisis!

The viewers are thrilled to see that Donna arrived safely and she is a beautiful addition to the Corinthos family. The General Hospital spoilers tease that she will face a health crisis and the family will have to support each other as they stand by and trust the doctors to care for Donna.
