General Hospital spoilers tease that once again the helpful young scout who helped Peter August (Wes Ramsey) last year when he was held captive by Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Scout Wyatt Hoover, will appear again in Port Charles as his portrayer, Patrick J. Gibbons reprises his role!
General Hospital Comings And Goings – Patrick Says Wyatt Will Return With A Few Surprises
Although Patrick doesn’t know when his airdate is, he tweeted that he will be making an appearance soon as young Scout Wyatt Hoover, and mentions that Wyatt will come with a few surprises. One surprise might be that from the pictures he posted, he may have grown a foot or so! Since when he portrayed Sam Manning on One Life To Live he was maybe three or four, which was in 2012-2013, he might be about the right age to have a growth spurt and maybe a little voice change!
General Hospital Spoilers – Wyatt Was The Little Scout Who Left His Bugle In The Cabin
Wyatt was the little scout who befriended Peter August when he was held captive by Liesl in the cabin and brought him a couple of meals and left his bugle in the cabin. He also woke Peter every morning with his bugling, since the cabin was close to the scout camp.
Peter was saved partially due to Wyatt’s efforts, with his bringing Liesl’s notebook to Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) which eventually led to his being rescued from the horse barn on Wyndemere after Liesl moved him there and set the barn on fire! Nina Reeves (then Michelle Stafford, now Cynthia Watros) was also injured although Finn and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) got both Nina and Peter out before any serious injuries occurred.
General Hospital Spoilers – Prior To His Role As Wyatt Hoover On General Hospital, Patrick Played Sam Manning
Prior to his role as Scout Wyatt Hoover on General Hospital, young Patrick played Sam Manning, the young adopted son of Blair Manning (Kassie DiPaiva), and the son of Victor Lord Jr. (Trevor St. John) and Margaret Cochran (Rebecca Mading). Patrick started playing Sam as a tot, from 2010 to 2012 when it went off the air on ABC, although it was attempted to be revived online by a company called Prospect Park from April through August 2013.

Patrick talked about his excitement in an interview in Soap Opera Digest last summer about hearing from producer Frank Valentini and getting a chance to act in his second soap opera. Valentini also produced One Life To Live, and Patrick was in scenes with former OLTL alumni Roger Howarth and Michael Easton last summer in the Peter August kidnapping storyline and was very happy and excited to see them again and to work with them in scenes.
Although Patrick does not yet know how Scout Wyatt Hoover will be involved in his next appearances or who he’ll be working with, he is again excited to come back to General Hospital, and it’s certain his castmates will be happy to see him again as well!
