Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Double DiMera Wedding Planned as Kristen & Gabi Play With Fire

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal viewers can expect a double DiMera wedding next week. It won’t just be Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) tying the knot. Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), who is impersonating Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will make a desperate plea to someone surprising.

In the August 5 issue of Soap Opera Digest, the storylines were discussed. Zucker explained that in order to gain control over DiMera Enterprises – as well as the other companies – she needs to become a DiMera without blowing her cover.

Remember, very few people in Salem know Kristen is masquerading as Nicole. The rest of the town believes that the imposter is really a grieving Nicole and her odd behavior is related to her grieving her daughter, Holly (who isn’t really dead, but that’s another storyline).

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that not only do Stefan and Gabi tie the knot, but “Nicole” seeks out Tony DiMera and begs him to marry the fake Nicole. He resists the idea. After all, he is in love with Anna (Leann Hunley). As previous DOOL spoilers have indicated, both Tony and Anna are returning, so this may definitely complicate things.

Reluctantly, Tony agrees to Kristen’s plan. Zucker talked about the storyline, explaining that Kristen’s angle is to use the family legacy to get Tony to agree.

“Of course, she has her own selfish reasons; it’s a means to an end for her. But she convinces Tony that they have to do this for their family, their legacy. This girl [Gabi] is just a child and shouldn’t be running DiMera. If anyone is going to be running the company, it’s her.”

Tony’s return will certainly be a surprise. Anna always knew in her heart that he was alive. As loyal fans recall last time she was in Salem, she was following clues to lead her to her one true love. It turns out she wasn’t as crazy as everyone thought. It turns out that Kristen has known for quite some time about his living status and even knows where his apartment is located.

In Kristen’s eyes, Gabi is just a child. However, she is forgetting that Gabi can be just as manipulative and cunning – although not quite as evil as the master masquerader. However, Gabi is something – or shall we say, someone in her corner. That individual is none other than Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).

Not only did she run DiMera Enterprises at one time, but was heavily involved in the family on a few different occasions. She is also a sly and smart businesswoman and happens to know that Kristen DiMera is alive. Will she help Gabi gain control and take down Kristen before it’s too late? Is Gabi in over her head? Or are both women going to end up burned when they play with fire?
