Coronation Street spoilers tease that Mary Taylor (Patti Claire) will soon have her world rocked after Freda Burgess (Ali Briggs) drops a devastating bombshell about Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebdon) on her.

Even though Mary has been dealing with one blow after another, she certainly wasn’t prepared to hear this. Here’s what you need to know.

Fans know that things have been rather rocky between Mary and Norris for some time. As a matter of fact, Mary herself even considered pulling the plug on her marriage just so she can start a new relationship with local builder Jan Lozinski (Piotr Baumann).

Coronation Street Spoilers – Mary Taylor’s Plan Will Backfire

However, her little plan is soon going to backfire on her and in next week’s episodes she will get a shocking wake up call.

Mary decides to visit Norris and asks Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) to go along with her for some support. When they arrive, they find Number Three’s door wide open. Inside, Freda Burgess is sitting down.

Much to their surprise, Freda looks pretty comfortable in the house and even makes them a cup of tea. She then explains that Norris is on a quiet and peaceful retreat, which comes as a shock to Mary. That’s because she knows that her husband has never really been the silent type.

Mary then asks if Norris plans on returning home anytime soon. Freda seems to have something on her mind as she tells her that Norris is quite content where he is.

If that weren’t enough, she also tells Mary that she probably isn’t much of a wife, considering that Norris is wanting to file for divorce. She then tells her guests that they soon need to leave as she needs to clean the place up before an estate agent comes over.

Clearly, Freda is taking matters into her own hands, much to Mary’s surprise. What this means for Mary and Norris’ future, however, remains to be seen. Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
