Coronation Street spoilers have indicated that there might be a huge star coming back to the cobbles.

As a matter of fact, actress Sally Dynevor (Sally Metcalfe) has hinted that her character’s daughter Rosie Webster (Helen Flanagan) might be returning to Weatherfield sooner rather than later. The actress is currently on her maternity leave. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Britain’s Express, there’s a possibility that Helen might be returning to the ITV soap in the coming months. In fact, Sally opened up about Helen’s return during an interview with Lorraine Kelly this past week.

Sally told the television presenter: “We had [Helen] on last week and she was saying that she really wants to come back. And I know that you would welcome her with open arms because she’s just a delight.”

When Kelly commented about how talented and gorgeous Flanagan is, Metcalfe added that the entire cast and crew would love to have Helen back, simply because she is such a joy to work with. She added, “And I’m sure it won’t be long before she’s back on our screens because she’s so good.”

Should Helen Flanigan return to the soap, this will be a huge relief for fans as many of the show’s stars are reportedly leaving. Some of the stars that have announced their departures include Bhavna Limbachia, Kym Marsh, Connie Hyde, Tristan Gemmill, Faye Brookes, Katie McGlynn, and Lucy Fallon.

A source close to Coronation Street producers recently told The Sun that the soap’s bosses are keen to have a few fan favorites return to help with the show’s ratings. They are certainly keen to have Helen back after she is done with her maternity leave.
