‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Poll: Should Katie and Bill Reconcile?

Devoted viewers of ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ know that whether Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) might reconcile isn’t the issue. Ingo Rademacher’s (Thorne Forrester) exit from the cast established a plot possibility for the formerly married couple to get back together again, but should they?

Bill is fully sincere about continuing to reform his life. It’s not a ploy, or part of some effort to gain business, or personal advantage. He simply wants to maintain a strong relationship with the son, Will (Finnegan George), he and Katie share. Bill’s newfound attitude flows from having missed out on Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt Spencer’s (Darin Brooks) childhood. He’s also fully acknowledged the pain he caused his two, older sons and having neglected Will within the last year-plus, due to getting severely off-track.

Katie still has feelings for Bill. The now self-proclaimed former Dollar Bill can’t deny that Katie still moves him in deeper ways than any other woman. With all due respect to the Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) period, Still represented Bill’s obsession rather than the pursuit of love.

When recently asked by Wyatt, Bill denied that he and Katie are in the process of reconciling. But the head of the Spencer clan didn’t dispute Katie’s importance in his life, or that a reunion is impossible. Those projected third nuptials could be the soapy charm.

Thorne made his stunning decision to leave Katie for varied reasons. Along with being unable to fully cope with the death of his daughter, he mentioned that Katie still loved Bill. Rademacher’s character also acknowledged that Will was benefiting from Bill having stabilized their father-son relationship.

With no viable alternative romantic options being written into either character’s path, it would seem that B&B is in the midst of exploring another Katie-Bill chance. Bill seems far more likely to keep himself on track if this happens. Will’s presence is a powerful motivator and Katie’s persuasive appeal can’t be denied.
