“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, July 13, tease that Jill (Jess Walton) will make waves with her Genoa City comeback. At the Abbott house, Jill shows up raging and demands to see Kyle (Michael Mealor). Jack (Peter Bergman) gets an earful over the drama with Phillip’s (Donnelly Rhodes) grave as well. Jill wants him to give up on the idea that Phillip is his father.
Once Kyle appears, Jill blasts him over her revived grief. Kyle apologizes for disturbing Phillip’s grave, but Jill isn’t convinced that he’s sorry. Afterward, Jack tries to make Jill understand what’s at stake. He was devastated to learn he wasn’t a blood Abbott, so he’s desperate to find an identity. It’s important for Jack to learn who he is and where he came from.
After Jill calms down a bit, she heads to the athletic club for drinks with Jack. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) walks over to rant about the art in the park. Talk turns to Jack’s paternity suspicions, so Nikki chimes in. She thinks Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) would’ve left Chancellor Industries to Jack if she’d known. Jill downplays the suggestion and refuses to believe Jack’s truly a Chancellor.
Later, Kyle gets a delivery at home. Jill’s there to hear something about the DNA test results. She promptly freaks over Kyle and Jack’s sneakiness, so more drama’s ahead. In the meantime, Nate (Brooks Darnell) stops by Hamilton-Winters at Devon’s (Bryton James) request. He’s there for a recording session, but Hilary’s clearly annoyed.
Lily (Christel Khalil) is also on hand for a discussion about the server acquisition. She notes that Victor (Eric Braeden) would’ve done the same thing in that situation. Devon remains unsure about the whole thing. Of course, Hilary supports Devon’s side of the argument. As you might expect, Nate goes against her and supports Lily instead.
Hilary and Lily’s bickering gets out of hand, so Devon intervenes. He also helps Kyle out with a romantic setup. After Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) get texts about a rooftop robbery, they’re not interested in checking it out. Devon insists and there’s a good reason why. Once Mariah and Tessa get up there, Kyle reveals that they’re going to watch a movie under the stars.
Tessa and Mariah realize it was all a trick, but they opt to stick around for wine and popcorn. It looks like love could be in the air soon. Over with Victor, he refuses to listen to Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) warning. She’s desperate to stop Victor’s upcoming showdown with J.T. (Thad Luckinbill), which could turn deadly.
Victor contends that he’s going to finish this and storms off to meet his enemy. As for Victoria, she contacts Nikki about the faceoff. Nikki’s just as worried, so she gets Nick (Joshua Morrow) to get in touch with Paul (Doug Davidson). She hopes that Paul will send some protection Victor’s way.

Elsewhere, a safe contains a gun. Someone’s hand is wearing a glove as he or she reaches inside. In an alley, Victor glances at his watch just before J.T. appears. “The Moustache” declares that he’s been waiting for this moment.
