The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Dina Is Back – Kyle Finds New Answer

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Dina Is Back – Kyle Finds New AnswerThe return of Marla Adams (Dina) is noteworthy on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Now that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) was forced to admit her duplicity, Jack (Peter Bergman) knows that John (Jerry Douglas) was always his father. But Kyle (Michael Mealor) finds his way to another family drama that’s located inside a safe at Jabot.

A secure room at a Genoa City bank served as the setting for Jack to open a mystery. The lone item he found in the safety deposit box was an ancient photo that displayed some of the show’s classic, 1970’s characters.

Dina’s spring claim, that Jack wasn’t John’s son, pushed Bergman’s character and the audience onto a controversial, month’s-long storyline path. This week Jack’s rage will match various GC observers who also felt like they were taken for a ride.

Jack’s infamous chair-throw, through Jabot’s window, many years ago has often been shown in retrospective scenes. Now, in 2018, considering safety standards and the need to offer a creative wrinkle, Jack will throw an office chair through the window that Billy (Jason Thompson) had installed at the front of Jabot’s Chief Executive Officer’s office. So, La Vida Lola’s (Sasha Calle) customer’s will be safe on the sidewalk below the beautiful skyscraper that helps to adorn this fictional Wisconsin town’s sky.

Ashley’s outrageous actions represent the setup to Davidson’s departure from the cast. There are no indications that she’ll be returning to regular status anytime soon. But she and Y&R have indicated that future scenes will show the character she’s played, off and on, since the mid-1980’s.

With the paternity mystery solved, what could Kyle find in the office safe that’s of any meaningful importance? Will Dina’s recollection, that was told to Abby (Melissa Ordway) many months ago during an intended memory recording session, prove to have been about another critical plot point?

The answers to these and other questions will be found within daytime’s forty-five-year-running, twenty-nine-year ratings’ leading epic soap.
