General Hospital Spoilers: Rebecca Budig Talks Possible Hayden Return
This shouldn’t surprise many General Hospital fans, but actress Rebecca Budig says that she would absolutely love to come back to Port Charles, should the timing and of course, the storyline be right! The actress, who fans know best as Hayden, has hinted that she misses her old home and would love to be back on daytime television sooner rather than later.
In a new interview with Soaps in Depth, the stunning brunette says that she loved seeing her character evolve and better yet, the response she got from the viewers. After Hayden was written off, she was surprised to see that so many viewers’ hearts were broken, along with Finn’s.
After all, they were expecting to see much more from this couple!Rebecca told the publication, “Hayden was first described to me as a con woman. They didn’t really give me much else. It was very flattering for them to have actually grown to like Hayden, because a lot of people didn’t in the beginning. So their response to me leaving was so heartwarming.”
Now, whether or not Hayden returns to the daytime television show remains to be seen. After all, fans know that the door is always open for old characters to return at anytime. Fingers crossed! Either way, we have a feeling that the General Hospital writers might have something in store for Hayden, if not now, but in the near future.General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network.
