General Hospital Spoilers: Griffin Munro Spirals, Loses Touch With Reality Following Kiki’s Death?

General Hospital Spoilers: Griffin Munro Spirals, Loses Touch With Reality Following Kiki's Death?General Hospital spoilers tease that Griffin Munro’s (Matt Cohen) struggles with his grief over the murder of Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) will have far-reaching consequences; far-reaching inside himself, that is!

Since Griffin first came on the General Hospital canvas in February, 2016 as a disgraced priest on priesthood probation, his struggles with himself and his faith have run the gamut from self-hate to almost “don’t care”!

Griffin Munro’s Past On General Hospital

He first appeared on General Hospital as the ex-lover of Claudette Beaulieu (Bree Williamson), whom she had cheated with on her husband and later ex-husband Nathan West (Ryan Paevey)! He was also revealed as the only son of Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) from a relationship prior to when Duke and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) met, although Anna has always treated him as a son of her own.

General Hospital spoilers show how Griffin may doubt his faith even to the point of agnosticism, although it’s doubtful he’d go as far as atheism. He gave up the priesthood totally when he became involved with Ava Jerome, (Maura West) and then fell in love with her daughter Kiki, and just when things were going almost perfect for them, she becomes a murder victim!

General Hospital Spoilers – Griffin’s Guilt Takes A Toll

Griffin already is having problems forgiving himself for leaving Kiki alone in her apartment while they agreed to meet at the Ashford wedding later, and he is probably sensing a cause-and-effect between his giving up the priesthood to be with Ava, and then getting involved with Kiki.

But then, it’s a common side effect of grief for someone to blame themselves or God, or doubt their faith because of the loss of a loved one, whether it be due to murder, accident, or illness.

Can Griffin hold on to his faith through his dark night of the soul, or will he himself turn dark and seek revenge? Time will tell, keep watching General Hospital and checking General Hospital spoilers frequently to see how Griffin holds up and if he joins the increasing number of Port Charles residents who will want to seek revenge or vigilante justice once the evil Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is exposed!

As always, more detailed spoilers and a full collection of pictures for the week in question will appear here on Soap Opera Spy, where there will be more clues and hints over exactly what’s going on.

General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network.
