General Hospital RECAP Monday, September 24:  Oscar’s Devastating Cancer Blow, Margaux’s Determined To Take Down Sonny

General Hospital’s Monday September 24 episode recap begins with Sam (Kelly Monaco) asking Jason (Steve Burton) to do one more favor for her.  Sam wants Jason to try and make peace with Drew (Billy Miller).

Sam Wants Jason To Be There For The Quartermaine’s

Jason tells Sam they can’t, and she knows why. Jason tells Sam that Drew hates him and she knows that.  Sam can’t tell Jason what is going on.  The problem is nothing Jason can fight; he can be there. Sam tells Jason that Danny (T.K. Weaver) picks up on the tension with Jason at the Quartermaine’s.  Sam asks Jason to be there for all of them.

Mike Can’t Remember About The Gun

General Hospital’s Jason tries to figure out what is going on. Mike (Max Gail) comes downstairs and tells Jason he needs to talk to Sonny (Maurice Benard).  Mike has made a mistake that may hurt Sonny.  Mike asks Jason if he would want the boys to be like him.  Mike tells Jason he tried to warn Sonny against Scully.  Sonny tells Mike he needs to know everything about the body at Charlie’s. Mike tells Sonny that he dug up the body and put it in Charlie’s basement.  Sonny asks Mike what he did with the gun.

Mike slips back away and can’t answer Sonny and Jason.   Mike says his son has a good heart.  Jason agrees that Sonny is a good man.  Jason tells Sonny the nurse has Mike settled down. Sonny tells Jason that Marino was Margaux’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) father. Sonny tells Jason that Margaux is determined to take him down.

Terry Wants Oscar In A Clinical Trial

General Hospital’s  Drew tells Kim (Tamara Braun) he wants to tell Oscar (Garren Stitt) the truth.  Kim says she had a plan.  Drew tells Kim they need to tell Oscar together.  Kim tells Drew that Oscar will no longer be a kid if they tell him the truth.  Drew tells Kim they are well past that point.  Terry (Cassandra James) comes in and tells them they have decisions to make about Oscar. Terry says Oscar may be a candidate for a clinical trial since surgery would kill him.  Terry says the trial could kill Oscar as well.

Kim and Drew think they should try the medication.   Oscar bursts into the meeting and asks if he has cancer.  Oscar begs them to tell him the truth.  Drew tells Oscar they will answer his questions.  Kim tells Oscar that he has cancer.  Oscar says this explains the headaches. Oscar asks if he’s having surgery or chemo.  Oscar assumes the cancer isn’t that serious. Kim tells Oscar his symptoms are going to get worse.  Oscar wants to know how bad this is going to get.

Franco And Cameron Talk

General Hospital’s Carly (Laura Wright) and Franco (Roger Howarth) show up to pick up the kids.  Carly and Franco argue about Cameron (William Lipton) and Jocelyn (Eden McCoy).  Carly tells Franco that Cameron may be tired of the revolving door.  Carly tells Franco they can coexist if he keeps Liz (Elizabeth Herbst) off of Jocelyn’s case. Franco and Cameron talk about protecting Aiden (Jason David).

Franco tells Cameron he is the man of the family.  Franco goes on to say that it’s only a matter of time before he’s gone.  Cameron tells Franco at least he can admit it.  Franco offers to be there if Cameron needs to talk.  Cameron and Franco talk about Aiden and football.  Liz calls Franco; she’s been talking to Terry at a bar.  Cameron asks what kind of doctor Terry is, Franco tells him.

Oscar Leaves To Get Answers

General Hospital’s Cameron and Oscar are inside.  Cameron asks Oscar if he’s denying having cancer. Cameron tells Oscar about leaving a message for Drew and about seeing Franco’s computer. Oscar assures Cameron that he isn’t sick.  Cameron tells Oscar that all of this just seemed to fit together.  Oscar tells Cameron his parents would tell him if he was sick.  Oscar takes off and asks Cameron to keep quiet.

Oscar tells Jocelyn and Carly that he has to leave. Jocelyn thinks it seems weird and asks Cameron what’s going on.  Cameron lies and tells Jocelyn that Oscar wants them to go on a hike.  Jocelyn and Carly stay to work on the donations and discuss boys. Carly advises Jocelyn to give Oscar space. Jocelyn asks Carly how to tell if you are in love.

Margaux Reveals Marino Is Her Father

General Hospital’s  Sonny is at the PCPD, Margaux tells Sonny that Vincent Marino was her father and worked for Scully.  Sonny was the assistant manager of a club Scully owned but didn’t know the attorney.  Margaux tries to connect it through Mike and Charlie.

Margaux tells Sonny the gun was tied to another Scully employee death as well.   Jordan (Briana Henry) is furious that Margaux didn’t tell her the body was her father. Margaux is visibly shaken and wants someone to pay. Margaux tells Jordan they are looking at this backward. Mike is covering for Sonny.

Sam And Curtis Offer Advise To Each Other

General Hospital’s Sam joins Curtis (Donnell Turner), and they discuss the DNA tests.  Sam offers to take over for Curtis.  Curtis knows something is going on with Sam.  Sam promised not to say anything. Curtis tells Sam he wants to help Drew.  Sam tells Curtis to be a friend to Drew and be there if he needs him.

Curtis asks Sam what’s up with her and Jason.  Sam tells Curtis he’s intrusive, but she forgives him.  Curtis talks about Jordan; Sam offers advice, you don’t know how much time you have to love someone, love them while you can.  Curtis tells Sam to take her own advice.
