Coronation Street Spoilers: Who Will Save Sally From Prison?

Coronation Street Spoilers: Who Will Save Sally From Prison?“Coronation Street” has upped the ante in its show by finding one of its most famous character guilty of a crime she did not commit and will spend the Christmas holidays in prison.

This week, former mayor turned jail inmate, Sally Metcalf, was condemned to four years behind bars after being found guilty of fraud, bribery, and money laundering. Meanwhile, Duncan Hadfield, the corrupt businessman who framed Sally and now playing the victim card, got a suspended sentence and 200 hours of community service.

Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo), Duncan’s lawyer, was baffled at the reaction of his client after the sentencing. In a conversation with Adam Barlow, Imran expressed his concern about Duncan’s remark that he got off lightly.

He continued to ask if that was the normal reaction of a person who claimed to have been coerced into committing a crime. He added that his client should have felt angry for having to go through the trial proceedings or perhaps felt that justice has been served.

Imran added, “And conveniently enough, he’s got no assets as his house and car are both rented, so it looks like Sally’s going to have to cop for the lot.” It would even seem as if he regretted his decision to take on this case. Will his feeling of compunction eventually lead to Sally’s case being revisited?
