All My Children Alum Susan Lucci Shares Her Secrets To Looking Fabulous

All My Children Alum Susan Lucci Shares Her Secrets To Looking Fabulous There’s a reason why Susan Lucci looks so fabulous at the age of 71. The iconic daytime television star is opening up about her secrets to looking and ageing beautifully, as she has become a true inspiration for women of all ages.

The former All My Children star and Emmy winner says one of the reasons why she looks so irresistibly good is because she does her best to maintain a “balancing act,” especially when it comes to her diet.

The beautiful brunette told Page Six that she works out almost every day with her Pilates Pro Chair and even wakes up early to make sure that she squeezes in a session during her busy days. If that weren’t enough, she’s also very careful about her diet, which consists of fruits and vegetables, lean protein and healthy fats.

And while she does her best to skip sweets, she does enjoy a good bowl of pasta from time to time. After all, she is half Italian! Susan also likes to sip on hot water with lemon throughout the day.

“You get the comfort of a warm liquid, but it also helps balance your pH, boost your immune system [and] metabolism, and certainly it hydrates,” she explained of her favorite beverage. “So it’s good for your skin, it’s good for your body and it’s good for your well-being.”

Susan also shares another beauty secret: she always takes off her makeup at night, regardless of how exhausted she feels. “No matter how tired I am, I will take off my makeup thoroughly,” she said, “because your skin repairs itself overnight. I use my Clé de Peau Beauté foaming cleanser, my SkinMedica TNS Essential Serum and La Mer eye cream and moisturizer.”
