'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers Thursday, January 12: Dylan Avoids Disaster – Worried Sharon Leans on Nick – Phyllis Plots, Calls Ravi“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, January 12, tease that Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will get some peaceful moments with her parents. At Crimson Lights, Faith is happy about the new nanny. She’s grateful that she’ll get to spend more time with Nick (Joshua Morrow). Sharon (Sharon Case) shows up and Faith asks for updates on Dylan (Steve Burton).

After Sharon offers reassurance about the case, talk turns to the chess club Faith started at school. Sharon remembers learning chess from Nick. It’s clear that the tension is lifting and Faith seems relieved.




Later, Nick privately asks Sharon about the situation with Dylan. She confesses that she’s terrified. Nick pulls Sharon into a hug and argues that Dylan can take whatever gets thrown his way. He insists that Dylan will be back soon.

At The Underground, Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) tells Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about her sabotage fears. She notes that the investor inexplicably shifted his opinion about Fenmore’s. When the investor arrives, he questions the company’s poor customer service. He states that he’ll need controlling interest, but Lauren turns him down.

After the investor leaves, Phyllis mentions Jack’s (Peter Bergman) offer. Lauren believes Jack would go too far. He would try to take over. Phyllis suggests there’s something else they could try. “The Young and the Restless” fans will be anxious to see if it will work out.

At the athletic club, Gloria (Judith Chapman) gets Michael (Christian LeBlanc) to admit that Lauren’s meeting didn’t go well. Jack walks over and wonders if he can join them. He grills Michael about the investor hunt. Michael thinks Lauren will find the right person.

Once they’re alone, Gloria tells Jack about the investor and how she meddled. Gloria expects Jack to fulfill his end of the bargain. Jack heads over to Jabot and tells Ashley (Eileen Davidson) what Gloria did to eliminate the new competition.

Ashley wishes Jack would pay more attention to the Jabot Go app. She shows off an advertisement and urges Jack to keep Ravi (Abhi Sinha) happy. They don’t want him to get scooped up by Victor (Eric Braeden). Jack offers to give Ravi a stand-up desk and whatever else he might need.

Later, Ravi is in his office with headphones on when the phone rings. It’s Phyllis, but she’s forced to leave a message when Ravi doesn’t pick up. Phyllis wants to see what Ravi thinks about her idea, so she encourages him to call her back.

In Miami, Alex (Jess Webb) kisses Dylan and he shoves her toward the bed. After Alex pulls away, she gets her cocaine and wants to liven up the party. Dylan contends that this is a stall tactic. Alex warns that she has to protect her boss. She grabs a lamp and turns it over to reveal a bug.

Dylan acts like he’s glad Alex caught it for them. He pretends to find another bug and notes that his boss isn’t very trusting either. Dylan pulls out a case of cash and once again asks to see Fisk. Alex agrees, but warns that Fisk will make the rules for the meeting. She urges “Derek” to trust her.

At the police station, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) tells Christine (Laralee Bell) and Paul (Doug Davidson) that Dylan didn’t check in. Christine thinks maybe Dylan didn’t want to risk it, but Kevin worries he could be in serious trouble. Paul feels like it will be his fault if something went wrong.

A short time later, Michael forces Kevin to take Gloria off his hands. Kevin reluctantly agrees to invite her to stay at his place for a few nights. He’s concerned about how Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will take the news. Y&R rumors hint that another heated confrontation is brewing. Stick with the CBS soap to see how this goes.
