The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor’s Request is Diabolical – Kevin In Precarious Position

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor's Request is Diabolical – Kevin In Precarious PositionVictor (Eric Braeden) does nothing without expecting payback at some point on ‘The Young and the Restless’. That’s the opposite of a generous soul, as Kevin (Greg Rikaart) has again learned.

Rikaart’s character is deeply familiar with the ‘Moustache’, having been under his thumb and employ on many occasions. Not a clean soul in his own right, Kevin has nevertheless has held a legitimate job and formed a family. The trade-off in reviving ‘Khloe’ a few months ago involved indebting himself to Victor.

Michael (Christian Le Blanc) evidenced suspicion after unexpectedly seeing his brother at Crimson Lights. That was an important observation the camera allowed, as Mr. Baldwin has often sleuthed out Kevin’s secrets in the past.

Y&R fans knew that Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe) was departing the cast earlier this year. Chloe has been in and out of Genoa city through various arcs during this decade. Rikaart hadn’t done the same during his Y&R tenure that began more than a decade ago (2003).

Viewers were saddened to see that Rikaart was either leaving the cast indefinitely, or moving to recurring status. Now, as September’s shadow grows, Kevin has thankfully returned. However, he’s been immediately tasked with a bad job.

Victor summoned Kevin to help in his assault against Nick (Joshua Morrow). Yes, this father wants to use a man who just moved to Portland, Oregon, with his family as part of a plan to somehow destroy his son. That’s why Victor was rightly dubbed the ‘Black Knight’ by Jack (Peter Bergman) ages ago.

Kevin heard Victor’s lengthy explanation about Nick’s supposed sins during a commercial break, as viewers learned. That technique is often used by soap writers to verify that a character has been brought up to speed within the storyline.

Mr. Fisher has no choice but to help Victor, who knows that Chloe is hardly dead. Y&R aficionados may wonder if Kevin will rebel at some point, or simply not meet Victor’s likely absurd demands. In either instance Chloe’s new identity would be jeopardized, if not purposely ruined.
