The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane Has Time To Come Clean – Juliet’s Lies Also Problematic

Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Juliet (Laur Allen) made a manageable mistake on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Then both characters lost control of the situation at different times. Cane still possesses the ability to salvage his family, if not his job. Juliet’s exaggerations, which could be classified as lies, put her in a precarious position as well.

At first Cane didn’t even recall what happened in Tokyo after downing approximately 10 sake bombs. But Juliet did.

After they returned from Japan, she told Cane what happened between them in his hotel suite.

It’s still hard to know why Cane allowed himself to become involved with Juliet that night. It also seemed possible that Juliet might have maneuvered him into that position. Time seems to have lessened that suspicion, as both parties apparently just acted improperly.

Everything likely would have remained between this unlikely duo except for what Cane decided to do in Los Angeles. His purposeful act in setting up Billy (Jason Thompson) directly led to Juliet being fired. Unjustly, as the viewers know.

All was not fated when Vickie (Amelia Heinle) made the decision to sacrifice her to the hockey gods. But as soon as Hilary (Mishael Morgan) overheard Cane and Juliet talking about Tokyo she began to drag this matter through mud. And then Leslie (Angel Conwell) entered the legal picture, which Michael (Christian LeBlanc) realizes is a problem for his corporate client.

Assuming this matter makes it to the courtroom, Cane is sure to be exposed in as having told numerous lies. Juliet also hasn’t been fully truthful. She knows that Cane never forced her to do anything in order to gain a job. The defendant and the plaintiff could both be destroyed on the stand.

Now that all parties involved have arrived at mid-June, Brash and Sassy’s future is in question. Regardless of what results from legal proceedings, Hilary is primed to expose ‘Jane’s’ connection to the world. That will damage Juliet and Cane, along with Brash and Sassy.
