General Hospital Spoilers: William deVry Exit Rumors Swirl – Julian Jerome Assumed Dead, Did He Survive Liv’s Attack?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Julian Jerome is presumed dead. GH Fans saw Julian shoot the handcuffs to free Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). He yelled for Alexis to run as fast as she can. As Alexis started running away from the footbridge, she heard a gun shot ring out. She stopped to look back and only saw Liv Jerome (Tonja Walker) standing on the footbridge holding the gun.

Julian was nowhere in sight. Alexis eventually made it back to the Port Charles Police Department. She walked in as Ava Jerome (Maura West) is expressing her concerns to Police Commissioner Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Ava fears Liv will harm Julian. Alexis announced that Julian could possibly be dead already.

Alexis explained to Jordan and Dante how Liv took her hostage as she was attempting to walk to her car at the hospital. Liv pulled a gun on Alexis and took her to the footbridge. Alexis woke up to find she’s handcuffed to the footbridge and Liv is there holding that gun on her.

Julian arrived shortly after Liv had summoned him His first instinct was to help Alexis get free. Liv put the gun in his back and Julian begged for Liv to let Alexis go free.  Liv ordered Julian to kill Alexis and wanted Julian to feel the loss she did, when Julia had Duke killed. Duke was the love of her life. The last memory Alexis has of Julian is him yelling for her to run and hearing the gun shot that may have killed him.

GH Fans do not know if Liv actually shot Julian as we didn’t see it on our screens. PCPD found a coat on the river bank that was soaked in blood. Ava confirms Julian has a similar coat and believes it belongs to him. The cop states how strong the river current is and doubts anyone could survive in it.

Jordan informed the officer to keep searching and Ava encouraged Alexis to stay strong and believe Julian is still alive. She survived a similar situation in the past and was able to survive. Jordan however tells the ladies the search has now changed to recovering. She instructed them to realize and accept the fact that Julian is dead.

Julian could have survived the shot and cold temperature of the water. DeVry’s contract is ready to expire soon and it’s unknown if he will stay on as Julian.
