General Hospital Recap Wednesday June 7: Alex Escapes – Nina Divorces Valentin – Hayden Shares Pregnancy News

Wednesday’s June 7 episode of General Hospital begins with Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) arriving at Curtis’s (Donnell Turner) apartment with a cupcake and candle for his birthday. Later she has to leave for work but they make plans for tonight. Jordan leaves.

Curtis’s Aunt Stella arrives and surprises him. She asks if he’s seeing anyone. He avoids telling her about Jordan. He mentions she can stay at the Metro Court but Aunt Stella insists on staying there. Curtis asks how long she’s staying. Long enough to celebrate his birthday, see TJ and hopes Jordan doesn’t cross her path.

Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) listens as Finn (Michael Easton) and Hayden (Rebecca Budig) discuss their pregnancy. Finn anticipates being reinstated as soon as the lab test comes back clean.

Griffin (Matt Cohen) interrupts and needs Finn to consult on Ava (Maura West). Dr. Obrect says only if he gets to practice again. Finn confirms he isn’t taking any drugs.

Griffin reminds Dr. Obrecht this is just a consult as Finn isn’t cleared to treat patients. Griffin leaves. Finn says to Dr. Obrecht to set aside her dislike for him long enough to do the right thing for a patient. Griffin returns and pulls Finn to the side. The lab results came back positive and Brad wasn’t near the test.

Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel) tries to convince Laura (Genie Francis) to let him live in Port Charles permanently since Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) has been arrested. Laura put Spencer in boarding school to protect him from Valentin. Spencer says since Emma’s Grandma arrested Valentin he’s confident the charges will stick.

Cameron (Michael Leone) is upset he has to spend time with Liz (Rebecca Herbst) at work. Hayden offers to take Cameron with her since she has the day off from work. Liz hesitates but finally agrees. Spencer and Laura arrive for her board meeting. Laura explains how he bluffed his way of boarding school. Cam brags to Spencer he saw Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) last week as she was visiting for the Nurses Ball. They all eventually agree both boys can spend the day with Hayden.

Hayden takes the boys to Perks where they convince her they are allowed the high sugar & caffeinated drinks. Cam brags he kissed Emma and she liked it. Spencer throws his whipped cream on Cam’s face. The boys begin arguing and throwing whipped cream on each other. Hayden calls Laura for help. Laura arrives and makes the boys clean up their messes. Hayden starts to cry and says she’s pregnant and what kind of Mom will she be. Laura reassures Hayden and agrees not to share the news with Liz.

Nina (Michelle Stafford) tells Nathan (Ryan Paevey) that Valentin could have gotten away had she not told his whereabouts. He gave her a real family and isn’t sure she can turn her back on him.

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) are at the PCPD trying to convince Valentin to give them full custody of Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). Valentin says Charlotte will be fine with Nina. Lulu tells him that Nina is the one that turned him in. Charlotte needs to believe she has his blessing to live with Lulu. Valentin agrees but he will tell Charlotte and she will only know he’s on a business trip not prison. Dante and Lulu leave.

Lulu and Dante arrive home. Lulu is concerned Charlotte will blame her when she eventually learn the truth about Valentin.

Anna (Finola Hughes) is in the park thinking back on Valentin hoping she keeps her good life despite her own transgressions. Mac (John J. York) arrives and they discuss Valentin being arrested. Anna mentions Alex (Finola Hughes) is in WSB custody but refuses to cooperate. Anna concerned Alex will pin all of this on Valentin. Anna didn’t record Valentin’s confession so it’s her word against him. She doesn’t have any tangible evidence. Anna gets a phone call telling her Alex escaped and no one knows where she is.

Nina arrives to the PCPD to see Valentin. She admits it’s her fault he was arrested. He explains he was going to send for her so they could be a family again. He says I love you to Nina. Nina tearfully says she wants her freedom and hands him the divorce papers. Nina leaves. Nathan opens the door and tells Valentin he has a visitor.
