Emmerdale Star Charlie Hardwick Heading to Another Soap?

Fans are surprised that Charlie Hardwick is looking to make a big jump to another soap series. The actress is best known for her role as Emmerdale’s Val Pollard. She was on the show for ten years before her character was dramatically killed back in 2015. And now it seems like Charlie Hardwick is itching to get back to work!

According to reports, the 56-year-old actress says she would love to work on another popular soap sooner rather than later. That’s because she’s not ready to quit the entertainment business just yet.

Speaking to Britain’s Express, Charlie said, “Do you know, I think I would. I’ve watched Coronation Street all of my life so maybe…or Doctors? Or Hollyoaks?”

She also cheekily added that she wouldn’t mind an on-screen makeover, too.

Charlie quipped, “I was Sonia’s headmistress in EastEnders 15 years ago so there’d have to be a makeover! Ooh you never know.”

Charlie is currently working on the play HYEM (yem, hjem, home) at the Theatre503 in London. The play runs until mid-October.
