Emmerdale Spoilers: Showrunner Teases HOT! 2018 Storylines And Shock Exits

Well this was unexpected! Just when you thought that Emmerdale’s sizzling madness couldn’t get any hotter, one exec has dropped another sensational storyline bombshell.

Right now the village residents are mired in one of the greatest murder mysteries to ever hit the Dales: “Who Killed Emma Barton?” Emma’s (Gillian Kearney) enemies were legion and there’s too many suspects to name, but one thing’s certain: a killer is on the loose amidst the mist, and when he strikes again is anyone’s guess.

Add to that the upcoming Robron hysteria that have fans filled with anticipation. Will they or won’t they get back together at Christmas?

Fans of Emmerdale’s Robron (Danny Miller and Ryan Hawley) are getting a big, splashy Christmas present they won’t have to unwrap: a holiday episode that is devoted to the star-crossed lovers. But a big soapy reunion is far from guaranteed folks!

The end of the year promises to go out with a bang, not a whimper, but now it looks like 2018 will be just as, if not more, historically fantastic.

According to Iain MacLeod the show will be air one of its most intense storylines ever to usher in the New Year.

What are we talking about? For starters, a series of events will result in the departure of more than one member of the White family.

Who’s behind the White family exodus? Is it Lachlan (Thomas Atkinson), who’s coming more unhinged with each day?

MacLeod told TV Times that while fans already know that it’s almost bye-bye time for the Whites, there’s no confirmation yet as to whether any one loses their life in the soapy drama.

“We are doing something spectacular in January and the Whites will be a major part of that,” he said, “It’ll be one of the most intense rollercoaster months we’ve ever had.”  

It’s known that Lawrence (John Bowe) is leaving the show but could speculation that Chrissie (Louise Marwood) and Lachlan are targeted for a gruesome end actually be true?
