EastEnders Spoilers: Max Branning And Stacey Fowler’s Past Resurfaces – Can Stacey Save Stone Cold Villain?

Max Branning (Jake Wood) and Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) have a very complicated past on EastEnders. They had a passionate affair back in the day which wrecked two families. Despite the heart break and drama, the pair still have a soft spot for one another. Will it be Stacey that can stop the evil in Max?

EastEnders spoilers show that recently neither character has been having the best time. Max is on a hateful revenge plot that has taken over his life. And Stacey’s bi-polar disorder has been wreaking havoc on her family. Her children were taken out of her care and her newest child is in hospital, whether she pulls through is yet to be confirmed. But the two will take a break from the chains of their lives to share a heartfelt moment together.

It seems that Max still has a shred left of humanity as last night we saw him genuinely caring about Stacey. We can’t forgive him of his crimes, but it was nice to see he isn’t pure evil. He showed concern for Stacey’s daughter and it seemed to spark something inside of him.

We haven’t seen him do anything self-less or kind for a very long time. Is it going to be his old lover that cracks his heart? Is she really capable of bringing some good back to the man who tried to kill Jane Beale (Laurie Brett) and is now blackmailing her by threatening violence on a child?

There is plenty of opportunity for Stacey to chip away at Max’s stone-cold heart as she is in the same hospital and Jane. Which Max is visiting frequently to keep up his terrifying threats. Would you be glad if this is the end of Max’s story line? Or do you want something far more dramatic as the show has promised us for months. Death, murder, betrayal…or all of the above?
