‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Newman Continues To Break The Law – Will He Head Back To Prison?

Victor (Eric Braeden) apparently didn’t learn his lesson on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Days after being released from the nine-plus years that remained on his 10-year prison sentence, he decided to break into a Genoa City motel room. After entering, he proceeded to ransack Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) belongings in an attempt to find Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) missing journal pages.

Chloe arrived with a sleeping Bella (Cali May Kinder) while Victor was in their rented room. She wasn’t totally surprised to see the ‘Moustache’ but did ask him why he was there. He attempted to verbally pressure Chloe into surrendering the evidence needed to free Adam (Justin Hartley.) But, she stuck to her story of having burned the pages in question. Simultaneously, the viewers wondered how a corporate titan made time to involve himself in a petty crime.

Fans of ‘The Young and the Restless’ know that Chloe didn’t burn Sage’s key journal pages. Instead, she put them into a Bible. Where that holy book was secured is unknown. However, Victor told Chloe that he knows she’s far too smart to have destroyed her only bargaining chip.

A dangerous chess game continues to unfold in Chloe’s mind. Her first move was to work with Victor in order to frame Adam for murder. After having done so, she seems to have convinced herself that he’s been dealt with justly. Her second move involved introducing her second-born to various people in GC. But, she put her daughter’s future in jeopardy by defying Victor’s orders.

Considering Chloe’s past behavior on ‘The Young and the Restless’ and Victor’s ability to generally get exactly what he wants, it seems likely that Sage’s journal pages will be obtained somehow. In the meantime, Adam will fester at Walworth while Chloe keeps Victor’s threat to take Bella from her as a form of reprisal. Of course, if he makes that move Chloe has promised to inform the police how she helped Victor to frame his son.
