‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, August 19: Adam Assault Charges Could Mean 10-Years In Prison – Nick Blasts Victor – Travis and Victoria Reconnect

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, August 19, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will get updates on the new proof in Adam’s (Justin Hartley) case. At the police station, Nick takes a look at the diary pages and gets filled in on Bethany (Chrishell Stause). Dylan (Steve Burton) and Paul (Doug Davidson) say Victor (Eric Braeden) claims he only hired Bethany to seduce Billy (Jason Thompson).
Nick agrees that the story sounds suspicious. Later, Nick confronts Victor about framing Adam. Victor denies any wrongdoing. He assures Nick that he didn’t want Adam in prison. Nick still thinks his father had a motive. He contends that Victor would be willing to do something like this.
Meanwhile, two guards arrive to restrain Adam in his cell. They pull Adam off the guard he’s trying to strangle and use a stun gun on him. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) shows up and urges Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to listen to the warden. They tell her to go home and wait for news.

Michael hears that Adam has been refusing to eat. He learns Adam attacked a prison guard, so he goes the infirmary. Adam seems disoriented, but he remembers Victor coming after him. Michael tells Adam that he actually assaulted the guard. He adds that new evidence has emerged that could set Adam free.
The warden struts in and announces that Adam isn’t going anywhere. The assault charges could mean he’ll do up to 10 years in prison. Adam freaks over the possibility that he just sabotaged his own freedom. At the penthouse, Victor wants Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to leave town. Chloe insists on staying with Chelsea.
Once Chelsea gets home, she’s surprised to see Victor. Chelsea says there was an incident at Walworth and Victor exits. Chloe offers some comfort and Chelsea is grateful for her support. Dylan (Steve Burton) arrives later and says Adam is in the infirmary following the assault. Michael appears and admits Adam isn’t coming home yet.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will be stunned by Sharon’s (Sharon Case) revelation. At Crimson Lights, Sharon says she dropped a few hints to Kevin (Greg Rikaart). She wanted Kevin to understand why Mariah took the flowers. A frantic Mariah tries to smooth things over with Kevin.
When Kevin asks about Mariah’s feelings for him, she suggests that she’s worried Chloe will hurt him. Chloe walks in with Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) and Bella (Cali May Kinder). Mariah leads the kids away for a moment while Kevin and Chloe chat. Chloe talks about making peace with the fact that Adam is getting out of prison.
A short time later, Kevin plays with the children as Sharon, Mariah and Chloe watch. They think he’s great with them. Chloe states that Bella should have a happy family like the one Delia (Sophie Pollono) had.
In Mexico, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) shows up on Travis’ (Michael Roark) boat. She explains the Summer (Hunter King) situation and how Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) is trying to pin the oil crisis on Travis. They debate Victoria’s true reasons for making the trip. Travis wonders if Victoria wanted to see the life she’s missing out on.
Victoria thinks Travis may be hiding from the world. Travis gets irritated and gripes about Victoria’s ego. He thinks she’s just mad because he didn’t come when she called. Travis brings up Luca’s claims that Victoria and Billy (Jason Thompson) are back together. Victoria insists they aren’t. She starts to leave, but Travis reveals that he still dreams about her. He can’t get Victoria out of his head.
Victoria confesses that she needs Travis, too. The go below deck, share some steamy kisses and make love. Y&R rumors hint that this romance could cause major drama. Jill (Jess Walton) certainly won’t be happy. Stick with the CBS soap to see if Jill will form a new strategy.
