‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday April 12: Victor Intrigued by Ian’s Plan for Freedom – Nikki Begs Jack to Keep Secret – Billy’s Deposition Begins

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, April 12, tease that we should be prepared for some dicey depositions in Genoa City. Billy (Jason Thompson) is pushing all the Abbott team players to lie during their sworn statements. Naturally, Billy will be included in the fibbing crew.

In Tuesday’s preview video, Leslie (Angell Conwell) asks Billy if he swears to tell the truth. Billy replies, “And nothing but the truth so help me God.” Victoria (Amelia Heinle) flashes a stern look Billy’s way. It seems the tension is building for these two. It’s only going to get worse if Billy follows through on his plans for dishonesty.

Meanwhile, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will also have deceit on her mind. When Nikki says she’s asking for Jack’s (Peter Bergman) help, he’ll disagree. Jack will feel like Nikki just wants him to lie and cover up her mistakes. Nikki is desperate to keep her family of the loop on her drinking and Monday’s accident. She’ll continue to beg for Jack’s silence as she tries to hide her struggles.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Ian (Ray Wise) will have a devious scheme in the works. Ian will drop a hint and Victor (Eric Braeden) will take notice. Tuesday’s preview clip shows Victor saying, “So you have a plan to get out of here?” Ian will smile mischievously and point out that Victor’s paying attention now.

Could Ian help Victor cook up an escape strategy? It’s a possibility. We know Ian has experience with this type of thing. Back when the Paragon plot was in play, Ian seemed to come and go from lockup whenever he pleased. This lovable villain is a master at getting what he wants.

Ian’s true motives are still a bit of a mystery. However, we’d like to believe Ian is more of a friend than a foe right now. Is Ian really on Victor’s side? Y&R rumors suggest that some surprises are in store. We’ll have to wait and see if that means good news or bad news for Victor. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on what Ian intends to do.
