‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Nick Stays At Cottage As Walls Close In On Sharon

Dylan (Steve Burton) was right to ask his brother to stay with Sharon (Sharon Case) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. While the harassing phone calls have stopped and the cell phone used in that crime was found, Nick (Joshua Morrow) can keep an eye on everyone in the cottage when Dylan’s testifying out of town. However, Sharon knows that her ex-husband’s presence puts her in a precarious position as the Sully walls continue to close in on her.

As viewers know, Patty’s (Stacy Haiduk) finger dialed Sharon’s number. She made contact in order to present a blackmail plan. As long as Sharon helps her to escape from Stoneville, she’ll remain silent about Sully actually being Nick’s child.

Patty doesn’t care that her request seems impossible to meet. She unknowingly gained future leverage after having discovered the crime Dr. Sandra Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) committed. Patty learned that Sandy had convinced Sharon she was pregnant, when she wasn’t, and then gave her another woman’s baby to call her own.

Ms. Williams wasn’t aware of all the particulars in Sandy’s scheme. But, she felt compelled to confront Ms. Malpractice in her office at Fairview. Sandy admitted what she’d done, but then attempted to neutralize Patty as a witness by drugging her. Before she could carry out that act, Patty grabbed a letter opener in self-defense and stabbed her. Sandy’s death enabled Sharon to carry that wild secret home.

Sharon’s memory cleared at a later point. She had a DNA test conducted when it did. The results confirmed what she feared, Sully was actually Christian. But, instead of doing the right thing and telling everyone who was involved what she learned, Sharon panicked and has never told the truth. Besides Patty, Sage (Kelly Sullivan), who since died in a car crash, the nurse who helped Sandy and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) are the only people who know that Christian never died.

Nick knows Sharon as good as anyone. So, it will be challenging for her to play it cool while he’s living in his old residence. My how the world in Genoa City has turned, yes that’s an ode to the classic CBS soap ‘As the World Turns’, since ‘Shick’ once was together, or was it?
