‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers tease that Michael E. Knight is OUT at the CBS soap opera. TV Guide’s Michael Logan broke the news on Twitter on Friday June 10. Logan tweeted, “More #YR news: Three time Emmy winner Michael E. Knight out as Dr. Simon Neville after a few more eps. Decision made before EP switch.”
When Michael E. Knight arrived in Genoa City, it was unclear exactly how long he would be a member of the CBS soap opera’s cast. But, fans reacted positively to his quirky character and he had some amazing chemistry with Eileen Davidson’s Ashley Abbott, so TPTB kept him around.

So far no one from CBS has confirmed the news, nor has Michael E. Knight spoken out about it. It’s unclear if Dr. Neville is leaving Genoa City, or the character is being recast. “The Young and the Restless’ spoilers tease that the medicine Neville has been giving his patients has been resulting in relapses, and Hilary’s life may soon be on the line. If Neville winds up taking the blame for his patients’ health problems, his exit may have something to do with him leaving town before he has to face the music.

First Sage and now Dr. Neville. Since this was done before ep switched, can we get him back. I am so glad that jfp left but can’t the new ep. correct her mistake? I am so bummed about this.
I am so bummed about this as well! Loved the idea of he and Ash getting together as a couple! It is obvious he loves her! Think they would be great together
I’m so sick of TPTB screwing with the good stuff on the show, I’m on the edge of just saying to heck with it and quit watching it!!!!!! Honestly they put them in, take them out, put them in and then kill them off!!!!!!!!! Why can’t someone make up their minds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
