‘The Young and the Restless’ alum Kelly Sullivan [Ex-Sage Newman] has booked her next big gig in Tyler Perry’s ‘Too Close to Home’. The actress has been teasing about her new project for quite some time but was not able to disclose any information about it, however she is able to do so now. “I can finally talk about what I’ve been up to! So excited for you to see this!” she tweeted as she posted a photo of herself and the cast.
Tyler Perry is doing some great work and his latest is the new TLC drama series called Too Close to Home. According to Deadline, filming began this week and the new series is expected to premiere this summer with approximately eight episodes. Sullivan is playing a leading role according to Deadline’s report.
Other members of the cast are Brock O’Hurn, Brad Benedict, Trisha Rae Stahl, Robert Craighead, Alpha Trivette, Nick Billard, Charles Justo, Justin Gabriel, Brooke Anne Smith, Danielle Sayre, Christina Ochoa, Curran Walters, Ashley Love-Mills and Nick Ballard.
No doubt this will be another one of Tyler Perry’s extravagant work. Looking back Perry has released some pretty entertaining and compelling work. Nancy Daniels, who is the cable net’s president spoke highly of the upcoming series. “We know our viewers will be enthralled with how this story unfolds” she shared as she spoke of Too Close to Home.
The new series is focused around Anna, played by Danielle Sayre, after venturing out she is drawn back to seek forgiveness and finds herself at the same place she tried so hard to run from.
Sullivan is also popularly known for playing the role of Connie Falconeri/Kate Howard on ‘General Hospital’. So Y&R and GH fans ensure to keep tabs on this new project Sullivan is in, it promises to be good.
