NBC has released the official trailer for ‘This Is Us.’ Justin Hartley, who portrays Adam Newman on ‘The Young and the Restless,’ stars in the new drama as Kevin.
‘This is Us’ comes from the writer and director of the hit film ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love,’ and is described as a refreshingly honest and provocative new series. Mandy Moore [Rebecca], Sterling K. Brown [Randall] and Milo Verntimiglia [Jack] also star in the comedy set to begin airing this fall on NBC.

The official trailer for ‘This is Us’ begins – “18 million people in the world share the same birthday.” One of those birthdays will be Rebecca and Jack’s triplets. Unfortunately, Rebecca and Jack will face tragedy after the birth of their children.
Justin Hartley’s character Kevin – an actor – has reached a crossroads in his career and quits his job on a television show. Randall finds his birth father, the man who left him on the steps of a fire station 36 years before.

Wendi de Barros stars as Monica – a woman struggling with being overweight as she enters her mid-30s. In the trailer we find Monica begging Kevin to force her to lose the weight she desperately needs to shed. Despite her weight and self-esteem issues Monica will find love.
The official trailer released by NBC promises, “18 million people in the world share the same birthday. But that’s not the only thing they have in common. This is life, this is support, this is courage, this is strength, this is forgiveness, this is hope, this is happiness, this is family, this is love. This is us.”
‘This is Us’ airs Tuesday nights this fall on NBC. It has been billed as the must see drama of the new fall lineup.
