HollyWeb Festival Announces Official 2016 Nominations For Best Series: ‘The Bay’ And ‘Club 5150’ Among Web Series Nominated

HollyWeb Festival recently announced the official 2016 list of nominees for Best Series. Popular web series “The Bay The Series” and “Club 5150” are among the 80+ nominees. Who knew there were so many web series out there! Are you watching any of them?

“The Bay The Series” is directed by Gregori Martin and boasts a cast of heavy hitters from the rosters of daytime dramas. The cast includes Mary Beth Evans [Kayla Brady, “DOOL”], Ronn Moss [ex-Ridge Forrester, “B&B], Matthew Ashford [ex-Jack Deveraux, “DOOL”], Jacklyn Zeman [Bobbi Spencer, “GH”] and Tristian Rogers [Robert Scorpio, “GH” and Colin Atkinson, “Y&R”].

“Club 5150” is part of the “Pretty the Series” and “The Inn” web series franchise. The cast of the hilarious series includes Eden Riegel {Heather Stevens, “Y&R”, Bianca Montgomery, “AMC”] and Deidre Hall [Dr. Marlena Evans, “DOOL”]. Comedian Crista Flanagan from “MadTv” and Adrienne Wilkinson from “Xena: Warrior Princess” round out the cast. Haven’t seen “Club 5150”? The directors of HollyWeb are Daniel Doherty II and Jennifer Doherty. The HollyWeb Festival coordinate is writer/actor/producer Ed Robinson.
Tickets for the HollyWeb Festival event are not yet available for the 2016 awards ceremony. Ticket information should become available sometime in early March. HollyWeb was founded in 2012 and its goal is to honor the growing world of web and streaming series. In 2014 HollyWeb welcomed more than 300 guests at the awards ceremony.
