‘General Hospital’ News: Shari Belafonte Returns To GH – Are You Excited To See Major Lomax Back In Port Charles?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers announce the return of the beautiful Shari Belafonte to Port Charles. Belafonte, who plays the icy Mayor Janice Lomax, is scheduled to return on April 19.
Last we saw Mayor Lomax, she was facing Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) in the courtroom. As you will remember, the case involved Olivia breastfeeding her son in the Metro Court dinning room during a meeting with the Mayor.
Not only did the epic court case leave half of the women of Port Charles topless including Maxie (Kirsten Storms) Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Carly (Laura Wright), it left a room full of potential victims for the spiteful mayors return.
Alexis, who is responsible for adding fuel to the breastfeeding fire, is a likely target. In fact, Mayor Lomax didn’t even give her time to leave the courtroom before she promised payback. Will this involve Alexis herself or possibly her secret mob boss hubby, Julian (William DeVry)?
Alexis isn’t the only attorney in town, however, that left the Mayor angry. At the end of the day, even her own attorney, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) sided against her. By reminding Mayor Lomax of her loyalty to Carly and the other Corinthos, Diane may have also made an enemy for herself.
Let us not forget it wasn’t just the attorney’s fighting this battle. Nina (Michelle Stafford) also made it her mission to bring the mayor to justice during the case, going as far as to put Olivia on the cover of Crimson. Will the Mayor remember Nina and Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) involvement and go after Crimson as she did Carly and the Metro Court? If she does, will she be prepared for the new, fiery Nina. With her hopes of a child crushed, it would be interesting to see Nina have a target for her frustrations.

if the mayor was to get caught…then yeah…but other then that to cause more trouble, then no…
I want her and nick to be caught and Felicia to be the real mayor like she was supposed to be
setting up the storyline to get Paul found innocent of all charges IMO. I really like Sherry as an actress, but do not like her character at all. However, I also do not want Felicia sworn in as the Mayor either. Would be better to have them “head hunt” and employ a mayor from out of state that no one knows or has ties to. JMO

Only if it’s to be confronted about the way she stole the election and let Felicia have the job she was really elected to serve. Lomax needs to GO AWAY!!
