'Days Of Our Lives' News: 2016 Preemption Schedule - 'DOOL' Fans Will Miss Several Episodes Due To Summer Olympics

“Days of Our Lives” will be preempted several times in 2016 by the French Open in June and nearly two weeks in August for the Summer Olympics. In September “DAYS” will be preempted for the PGA Deutsche Bank Championship.

Jason47’s Days Website Facebook page posted a list of dates that “DOOL” will not be seen throughout 2016. This does not include emergency interruptions for press conferences and emergencies. The National Dog Show is listed as one of the preemptions of “DAYS.” However, this is listed as November 24, 2016, which is Thanksgiving Day. “Days of Our Lives” does not air new episodes on Thanksgiving Day.

“DAYS” preempted by the French Open Semifinals on Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day), Thursday, June 2nd and Friday June 3. The Summer Olympics, however, will take a toll on “DOOL” viewers.

“DAYS” will be preempted for two full weeks beginning Monday, August 8, 2016 and ending on Friday August, 19, 2016 for the Summer Olympics.

On Monday, September 5 (Labor Day) “Days of Our Lives” will be preempted for the PGA Golf Deutsche Bank Championship.

Also listed as preemption is a National Hockey League game on Friday, November 25. At this time the NHL only has the 2016 scheduled posted through April.

Yes, fans will be without “Days of Our Lives” for two full weeks in August unless the schedule of events to be broadcast changes. Remember to check the “DOOL” website for updated information or to watch full episodes from the past.

    I love Days and hope it keeps playing, I know changes are happening and hope it is for the good, all soaps need refreshing, I will keep watching no matter what happens
