‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers Friday December 11: Joe Arrested – Dr. Anderson Talks Mystery Man To Nick, Mariah Suspicious – Dylan and Sharon Marry

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, December 11, tease that we’ll see pure bliss for some couples and utter despair for others. At the penthouse, Sage (Kelly Sullivan) shows up and says she did something crazy. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Justin Hartley) are surprised when Sage tells them she’s their new neighbor. They were hoping Sage had worked things out with Nick (Joshua Morrow). Sage says Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) was right about them needing time apart.

Chelsea suggests that Sage join her in doing something fun with Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois). They make little angels and Sage stares longingly at Connor while he plays. Chelsea apologizes for having Connor around, but Sage thinks it’s therapeutic. Chelsea puts Connor to bed and Adam grabs a nightcap. Sage toasts to mothers and thinks she would’ve been a good one.

Adam hints that Sage’s time with Chelsea and Connor seems to have helped her. Sage says it’s so much easier with Adam and his family. She doesn’t know why it’s tough around Nick and his kids. Adam assures Sage that things will get better in time. Sage replies that all she sees with Nick is misery and Dr. Anderson told her they had to do what was best. Chelsea returns and extends an invitation to Connor’s Christmas pageant. Sage happily accepts.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say two Genoa City residents are about to tie the knot. Dylan (Steve Burton) asks Sharon (Sharon Case) if she’ll marry him right away. Sharon is thrilled and they get started. Paul (Doug Davidson) got ordained online, so he officiates. Noah (Robert Adamson) arrives with the rings and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) prints out bridal bouquet. Nick agrees to stay for their joyous occasion.

Dr. Anderson drops by to bring Sharon the phone she left at Crimson Lights. Sharon thanks Dr. A and suggests that she should stick around. Dr. Anderson is honored and the ceremony gets underway. Nick looks troubled by the whole thing.
Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) suddenly declares that this is all wrong. She wants Sully to be a part of the ceremony. They bring in the baby and vows are said. Afterwards, they have a little party and Faith gives a toast. Some wedding photos are taken. Mariah points out that

Dr. Anderson came by to do a good deed and ended up at a wedding. Dr. Anderson says she’s all about doing good deeds. Noah catches Mariah giving Dr. Anderson a suspicious look. He wonders what’s with the death stare. Mariah indicates it’s not a death stare yet, but it could turn into one.

Later, Dr. Anderson urges Nick to do things that make him happy. He should go sledding with Faith and try to feel like a kid again. Nick asks if Dr. Anderson is in a relationship. Dr. A says she’s married to her work now, but there was someone in her life once. He was down to earth and a lot like Nick. However, it didn’t end well and he didn’t take responsibility for his actions. Dr. Anderson admits she became a therapist because she thought she could heal herself by helping others. The doc has a better outlook now.

Elsewhere, Devon (Bryton James) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) arrive at the police station looking for Paul (Doug Davidson). Kevin (Greg Rikaart) says he’s off playing Santa Claus. Cane and Devon fill Kevin in on the situation with Lily (Christel Khalil). Kevin thinks it was stupid of them to let Lily go with Joe (Scott Elrod), but he tries to help. They track the car Lily was in and discover that it broke down. Devon and Cane head off to find it. When they locate the vehicle, Lily is nowhere to be found.

Cane suggests that they probably went to the Abbott cabin and they drive over. At the cabin, Lily tries to leave, but Joe refuses to let her. Joe is furious that Lily deceived him, but he still thinks there is something between them. Lily wants her marriage to work, but Joe thinks Cane takes her for granted. Joe talks about how Avery (Jessica Collins) accused him of something he didn’t do. He thinks no one ever defends him. Joe says he’s not the dangerous one; he won’t throw a punch.

Joe grabs Lily’s arm and states that she doesn’t know what real pain is. Cane and Devon burst through the door. Joe grips Lily’s neck and shouts that he knew all of this was a setup. Devon insists that they found them because they tracked the car. Joe says he would’ve framed Cane sooner if he had it to do over again. Paul overhears Joe as he walks in and gives Joe the news that he’s under arrest.

Cane is grateful that Devon believed in him. Lily pipes up that she believes in Cane, too. She wants to talk about forgiveness and putting their marriage back together. The fact that Lily doubted Cane still bothers him. Cane isn’t sure they can get past it. Lily thanks Cane for showing up to save her and she walks to her car.

Back at Dylan and Sharon’s place, they want to make love. Sully starts to cry and Sharon says the honeymoon is over. They can’t get the baby to sleep, so Faith decides to sing “Silent Night.” We see a brief montage as the music plays.

Nick looks at pictures of happier times with Sage while she stares at the angel she made with Connor. Chelsea and Adam gaze at their Christmas tree. Cane comes home alone and Lily sobs in her car as snow wafts down. Dylan and Sully finally fall asleep. Y&R rumors hint that the holiday season will bring happiness for some and heartbreak for others. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on the merriment and drama to come.
