'The Young and The Restless' News: Justin Hartley Returning to Mistresses For Season 3

“The Young and the Restless” actor, Justin Hartley, may be taking a break from Genoa City as Adam Newman, to return to his primetime television job on the ABC show “Mistresses.” TV guide revealed that Justin Hartley will reprise his role on Mistresses for the third season.

At the end of the last season of Mistresses, Scott Trosman, who is played by Justin Hartley, was stood up at the altar by Joss, played by Jes Macallan. Clearly you cannot have something that dramatic occur and not return to tell the story! Fans are excited to see Justin Hartley return to Mistresses so that they can find out what will happen between him and Joss. Will he confront Joss about the rejection?

Good news for all you Y&R fans though; Hartley is currently working two other films at the same time, and he is showing no signs of stopping. Hartley will continue to appear on “The Young and the Restless” as a series regular, while his two other films are in post-production. As far as his role on Mistresses goes, there is no confirmation on how many episodes he will appear in, so no need to worry, there will be time for Hartley to fulfill all of his acting duties.

You can expect to see Hartley in two upcoming films, The Challenger, and Another Time. Both of which are in post production.

Mistresses returns to primetime television on ABC on Thursday June 18 at 9:00 p.m. Be sure to check out the trailer of the two hour season premiere and tune in if you are interested in seeing whether or not Adam Newman will confront Joss about standing him up at the alter. He definitely should by the way, who does that!?
