‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Monday, July 20: Julian Blamed For Corinthos Shooting, Nik Offers Laura A Job, Tracy Over Luke

There’s been a shooting Sonny Corinthos’ [Maurice Benard] house and everyone’s first thought is that Julian Jerome [William deVry] is going back on his word to get out of the mob biz. Problem is, it wasn’t Julian. But will anyone believe him? When the shooting went down, Julian was engaged in steamy role playing nookie with Alexis Davis [Nancy Lee Grahn] at the MetroCourt.

But Alexis knows Julian could have given the attack orders before they hooked up and could have even suggested them getting a room to give him a rock-solid alibi. So will Alexis trust her sweetie? Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] will also confront her dad to ask if he was behind the attack. Julian is ready to prove that he’s really out of the syndicate and didn’t do these things, but is it the work of his sister?
And speaking of hot sex, Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] reminds Valerie Spencer [Brytni Sarpi] to keep her trap shut and not mention they did anything other than kiss. Valerie wants to know if Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan] is gunning for her and Dante does not have good news on that front. And poor Val is longing for Dante so she’ll do whatever he asks even as it’s breaking her poor cheating heart.
In other cheating/non-cheating news, Dillon Quartermaine [Robert Palmer Watkins] tries to talk sense to mom Tracy Quartermaine [Jane Elliot] and tells her that he’s 100% sure Luke Spencer [Anthony Geary] was not cheating on her. But all Tracy can see is that it’s one more time Luke ran off with Laura Spencer [Genie Francis] and told her lies, no matter that his intentions were good. Tracy is over it.
Luke goes to fill Lulu in on the latest update – that little Jake Spencer [James Nigbor] is alive and she’ll fill him in on Dante sucking face with Val. Luke can commiserate since he found Tracy in bed with her ex Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi] because she thought he was cheating. Luke is prepping his goodbyes for his last week in Port Charles. He’ll be gone for good a week from Monday on July 27th.
Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] takes her newly returned son Jake to GH for a checkup with Patrick Drake [Jason Thompson] who is stunned to see him alive. Liz asks how little Jake could have been taken by Helena Cassadine [Constance Towers] when they all saw him die. They will also wonder whose kidneys the transplant team delivered to be implanted into Josslyn Jacks [Hannah Nordberg].
Laura and Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] have some secret swapping to do as well. Laura will tell Luke about their journey and what they discovered. Nik will confess to Laura why he had to take over ELQ due to Helena’s finagling the family finances and draining them dry. He explains he has no ill intent toward the Qs and that they will likely prosper under his semi-benevolent rule.
Laura will overhear about Jake being Jason while lurking around and will keep this to herself although she may have some things to say to Nikolas later about the impact of keeping secrets of this magnitude. Laura will offer advice, Nik will reassure her and, naturally, won’t take her up on any of her motherly guidance. He may offer Laura a job at ELQ, though, which she’ll take to keep an eye on her errant son.

With Luke leaving everyone knows Tracy can’t forgive Luke unless she’s leaving too which she’s not, as far as I know LoL Glad genie is staying awhile, even tho it woulda been romantic to see Luke & Laura go off in the sunset together!! Hahaha!! I don’t know if you want my comments on GH!! I LOVE the soap! Been watching over 40 years! I’ve heard the ratings are WAY down! I blame that on the writers! Even if they do get a half way decent story line, they drag it out WAY too long! You can only be excited about a story so long before you end up hating the story line! Also the characters we’ve grown to love & WANT to watch, are hardly on any more! They fill up the 60 minutes a day with people we could care LESS about, that are taken away time from people we DO care about & we can’t figure out why?? They have some REALLY GREAT people to work with, why keep hiring more & more & more people we DO NOT CARE ABOUT which make some of the fans so mad they are starting to watch different shows! I know in some areas Days of our Life’s comes on the same time as GH & some of the GH fans are going back to DOOL! NOT good for GH! You try & tell them, they don’t listen, they don’t care what you have to say, & I’m only saying it because I don’t wanna lose GH!!
